About Treetops

Tracey Williamson is the founder and also project manager of Treetops Day Project. Tracey has 32 years of experience working with adults with learning disabilities and has used this to create her passion in life which is Treetops Day Project. It is undeniable that her energy and love for Treetops is infectious and this is really represented in the day to day running of the project.

Tracey has had various roles within the care industry including voluntary work in a day centre, deputy manager at a local authority education centre, manager of a residential home, running a respite care home and is now managing her own business; Treetops Day Project.

Tracey is a regional Makaton tutor, during which she has taught Makaton to a long list of individuals and even worked with the transport for London cross rail team. Tracey’s experience, skills and long list of qualifications have enabled her to make Treetops a unique project like no other.

Tracey founded Treetops back in 2010 and year on year the project has grown in popularity and size. In the beginning Tracey rented a small church hall with 2 to 3 clients a day, then to a large hall in Rainham. Up to now she has grown the business into having its own large house in Billericay with 13 members of staff. Tracey’s unique approach to care work has made her stand out in the industry making Treetops a popular choice for many families across Havering.
