Sienna's Yellow Library is a Caravan that has been converted into a relaxing library space. Our library works like any other library. A group of service users go into the library to add library check out cards into each new book we receive. If a book is to be borrowed from the Library their name the date has to be written on the Library card and once returned will be signed back into Library. This is a great opportunity for our service users to be independent and gain organisation skills, customer service skills etc. Our service users have to ensure all the books are organised in a well presented way. When we get donations of books our service users sort through the books to see what genre they are in and that they can be clearly viewed. We also have a comfy seating area for our service users to read some of the books in there. This is also a great relaxation space which has a private bit round the back and a hammock. Outside the caravan it has a shelter that is made from tree trunks and a metal roof which creates a nice relaxing sound when the tree's brush against the roof.
